3:30 - 4:30 The Formal Peace Walk included "a walk of silence" as we passed through the veterans memorials at the beautiful Bradley Point. For our reflection along the way, we placed a handful of signs with thoughts and meditations about peace making, non-violent action, religious diversity, and current events. The signs and the treasure hunt encouraged people to walk and talk with people of different faith traditions. It was a beautiful walk!
4:00 - Sunset (6:00) A Rendezvous for Peace including LIVE MUSIC with The Afro Semitic Experience, we had some very short reflections from leaders of each faith tradition, dancing, more walks along the beach and boardwalk. This was a wonderful event! |
